In 2012 this was the high end model of the Crosstrail Hybrid, the 2013 Crosstrail now has some higher end models that do weigh a bit less. The Sport Disk model bike I bought cost $800 stock, but you can spend up to $2000 on a version with better components. I have spent another $500 on accessories so far and expect to spend at least another $500 before I am finished. The airline travel bag for the bike will cost another $300.

The main reason I am setting the bike up in the US and bringing it with me is that this model does not seem to be available in Thailand and if it was available would probably cost double of what I paid in the US.
